I've been occasionally running into this error this week. It happens when I'm editing a post and click Go Advanced - I get this error and am unable to get to the Advanced formatting page. Any suggestions? I imagine it may be a browser issue since I use FireFox on my mac and haven't experienced it there.

This is a known issue with Chrome (https://groups.google.com/a/chromium.org/forum/#!topic/chromium-discuss/UrsSOYWITe0). Are you running an older version of Chrome?

Probably- it’s on my work computer so i can’t do anything about it unfortunately.

I haven't seen that on the most updated version of Chrome.

Can you contact your IT to get the most recent version? This is likely going to cause problems with other sites, and security, too, if Chrome won't update.

Yes but it will be a fruitless effort. It's an ongoing joke that every time you call IT to report a browser issue they just advise you to use another one. Our only options are Chrome and IE so they just go back and forth on their recommendations. And both are pitiful.

Chrome has always worked well for me BUT I always keep the updated version. That could be the problem.

We're probably 5 versions behind. lol

I don't understand why companies can't just roll it out to everyone once they tested it out. It's not like its a manual process.

Go to chrome://settings/help, or click the triple veritical dots at the upper right hand corner, Click Help, Click About Google Chrome. It should check for and install any updates. Our Corporate policies are pretty strict here, but still allowed mine to update to the latest version (Version 72.0.3626.81). It is worth a try.
