How To Remove A Poll From A Thread Without Deleting the Thread
Hi, I set up a poll on one of my threads and I only want it up for a few days. I thought I would be able to edit and remove at my leisure, but I do not see an option to do this. How can I delete the poll in a few days without deleting the forum thread?

You can close the poll at any time.
You can go to the poll and click on the pencil icon, and edit the poll. You can delete the question or change it.
I don't think a moderator can delete the poll. Possibly @EvilGreebo or @lexnaturalis can delete it, as admins.

Edit your first post in the thread, then click "Go Advanced" and you should see poll options.

Is there a way for an admin to take down the poll without removing the thread?

You can set the poll to expire after a few days. It won't delete it, but it will prevent others from being able to vote.
I've been doing some poking around on the internet and it appears that admins can delete polls on a thread without deleting the thread by doing the following:

@lexnaturalis or @EvilGreebo can you try to delete the poll from my thread "How Much Would You Have To Pay A Day To Be Debt Free In 2018". I would really appreciate it
